Why I became a Governor	Having seen the excellent education my children received throughout their time at Endon Hall, I felt it was time I gave something back. The Bank I work for are very committed to getting their staff to support the community and I wanted to see how I could support Miss Lewis and the staff to develop the school further.
The day job!	I have worked in a bank for 28 years and the last 15 years as a bank manager.
What do I contribute?	My employer provides me with lots of information regarding school governance across the country and, through networking, there are opportunities to share best practice ideas from schools. In my link role I look at ways in which we can improve the communication with parents and other stakeholders, including how we inform parents about the great work the school is doing and how the school responds to feedback.
