We value personal development as much as we do academic development, aiming to provide a truly memorable primary school experience that children will look back on as the best time of their lives!

We have established a deliberate and coherent programme of personal development, through both the curriculum and the wider opportunities and experiences we provide for pupils.

Our ethos is grounded in empowering all children and equipping them with the skills and attributes to make a positive contribution as individuals and active citizens, realising success beyond the school and for the future.

We nurture positive relationships and strength of character, placing very high importance on personal development and well-being, believing it to be as important as academic success, in our quest to prepare children for life in modern Britain.

We promote equality of opportunity so that all pupils can thrive together and understand that individual characteristics make people unique.

The range of rich and diverse opportunities and experiences that we offer impact positively upon children’s resilience and confidence, as well as supporting them to build independence and tolerance.

It is our primary aim to develop the ‘whole child’ and to promote pupils’ wider development, character and well-being, alongside their spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development.
