Why I became a Governor	My Dad was a school governor for many years when I was young, so it was always something I thought I’d do. When my daughter started in Nursery at Endon Hall and a vacancy arose, I decided that it was a good time to apply.
The day job!	I’m a chartered accountant and work part-time in a Finance Director role. I’m also a children’s picture book author and visit schools to talk about my books.
What do I contribute?	As a chartered accountant and MBA, I have a good grasp of finance and policies. As a former pupil and parent of a current pupil, I have a very strong bond with the school.
