Date appointed January 2011
Why I became a Governor The Headteacher is always a member of the Governing Board as senior leaders and governors constitute a school’s leadership team.
The day job! My role encompasses every aspect of leading a primary school, it is both challenging and rewarding. I am very passionate about the school, the children and the community we serve. I thoroughly enjoy my role.
What do I contribute? During my time at Endon Hall the emphasis has been on building the vision, maximising pupil progress, improving quality of teaching, developing the curriculum, fostering children’s learning power and life skills, and developing leadership at all levels. Before and After school provision and a Governor run Nursery have also been established. I have undertaken some consultancy work in other schools, including HMI training. In previous roles I have led Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, been Special Educational Needs lead, Maths lead, and carried out action research with the Campaign for Learning.
Do I have children at the school? No
