Sport Funding
Physical Education (PE), Sports Funding and its Benefits
PE, Sport, physical fitness, and mental well-being are vitally important in securing a healthy lifestyle. We strive to deliver an effective PE curriculum as well as a range of additional opportunities and experiences in the realm of sport, health and well-being.
Our vision is that all children leaving Endon Hall Primary & Nursery School are physically literate and have the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity, mental well-being, and sport.
Our Sport Plan documents our aim to secure improvement in the following key indicators:
-
-
- Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity
- Raise the profile of PE, Sport and Physical activity across the school
- Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport
- Broader experience of a range of sports and physical activities offered to all pupils
- Increased participation in competitive sport

Sports Funding
The Government currently provides additional funding to all primary schools each year to improve the provision of Physical Education (PE) and Sport. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and Sport in schools. The Governing Board is responsible for accounting for the impact of the PE & Sport Grant Allocation annually.
We completed the online digital expenditure reporting return for the PE and Sport premium in July 2025.
