Vision, Aims & Ethos
At Endon Hall Primary & Nursery School we strongly believe that the primary school years are not just about learning skills and knowledge, but rather an opportunity to foster young hearts and minds, instilling a love of learning itself. It is our pursuit to provide an excellent education and primary school experience that enables every child to realise their potential, achieve their academic and personal best, feel included, challenged and supported. We achieve this together, through relentless ambition and an aspiration for excellence in all aspects of school life.
Inspire today…
Our curriculum, and the core offer that sits alongside it, places a strong emphasis on empowering and inspiring children to make a positive contribution as individuals and citizens, realising success now and in the future. We believe that, taking inspiration from and being inspired by others ignites a spark, encouraging children to aim high, reach their goals and establish aspirations for life. Our approach recognises the importance of relationships, wellbeing, enjoyment and a sense of fun; themes that transcend our pedagogy and the memorable set of experiences and opportunities that complement our curriculum. It is our endeavour to nurture children’s foundations and value their uniqueness.
To achieve tomorrow…
Our core values of Respect, Resilience, Responsibility, Readiness, Reflectiveness and Resourcefulness underpin our curriculum and everything we do, combining to inspire children to achieve their potential and succeed during their time at Endon Hall. We place a strong emphasis on children reaching their academic and personal best, throughout their primary school years. We believe that our curriculum, through its careful design and coherent steps, equips children with the skills and attributes to become lifelong learners and confident, responsible, knowledgeable citizens. By building on what’s gone before, prioritising vocabulary and social skills, and ensuring clarity in key skills from EYFS to Year 6, our curriculum is progressive and provides an excellent road map for cultivating academic and personal success and growth.
We have created a strong sense of identity, community, belonging and pride in our school and are all collectively responsible for nurturing safe, healthy, confident and responsible individuals. We are wholly committed to our pursuit and work tirelessly alongside all stakeholders to bring it to fruition.
