Why I became a Governor	I have served on governing bodies in education for many years and have enjoyed being able to make a contribution. Having recently moved to Endon I am keen to continue to be involved in the education of local children.
The day job!	I am now retired. I began my working life as a teacher and then moved into training, Human Resources and hospital management roles in the NHS. My most recent job was as a Senior Fellow at the University of Birmingham.
What do I contribute?	My focus at the University was leadership and management. These areas, and my experience in Human Resources and governance, are skills that I bring to this role.
Do I have children at the school?	My youngest grandson is currently at the school. His two siblings have also been pupils.
